No, they came up with something clever to use against the Democrats in the fall. If the Dems are smart, they’ll introduce it as a freestanding bill next week.

Careful now. Your intelligence is showing.

I don’t see why anyone is really upset about that amendment.
I’m really not concerned about the poor rapists’ ability to get a tax-funded b0ner.
I would think this amendment would bring a bipartisan “DUH.”

And what is YOUR “real reason” for wanting convicted pedophiles to get free viagra?

Hey that’s funny. It is kind of like the concept of an intelligent liberal.

Restricting viagra for sexual predators, seems reasonable to me.

It’s just more Repugnicon smoke and mirrors. They thought that they could embarrass Obama by defeating the HC bill, and were putting all their energy into doing just that. They lost – and they’re having a childishly hard time accepting that.
What they’re trying to do now is keep the bill in the spotlight, and they won’t let it go, they need the publicity for the midterms in November. They’ve wasted so much time on a single issue, and lost, that they’re desperate. They also know that the approval ratings for Congress are arount 16%, they are far less popular than Obama.
They are still gridlocking Congress – and this surely cannot help them in the election. They want you to believe that rapists take a viagra before they look for a bush to hide behind – what a bunch of crap. It’s a typical example of Republican muddling and total incompetence. They need to find another cause. They’re taking this issue into two-year territory.
How pathetic.
They’re not helping themselves; they run the risk of flogging a dead horse and making themselves look weak, petty, and unelectable. It would only take a few independents to win some seats, and the Repugnicons would lose any influence over future Obama legislation votes.
