Well that’s an easy one! Because pregnancy is seen as the woman’s problem. If men got pregnant, not only would birth control pills be made available through government grants but abortion would be available on demand, no questions asked.
Did you happen to see The Daily Show this week where McCain was asked this same question–why insurance companies provide ED meds but not BC meds? He had his hands over his face when the woman was asking the question and his eyes registered real pain. Finally he said he really didn’t know enough about the issue to comment on it.
Because many people in certain religions don’t believe in birth control and don’t want to pay for it. Guess everyone believes in a man severely past his prime not having his mind destroyed.
Because it was decided years ago that tax dollars would not prevent babies being born. Birth control of any form, was denied. Women don’t mean anything.
Now I’m paying for Viagra? Figures! The old f**** can use it, no one can lose it.
Seventy-five percent of women experience some form of sexual dysfunction. NO PILL FOR WOMEN!
Fine by me. Bubba can take his pill. I’m still single and celibate. I think I’m sexually dysfunctional and I need a pill.
Mcain himself claimed that Viagra is more important than birth control, and insurance companies should cover insurance only for the Viagra, but, republicans are also opposed to abortion…..makes sence don’t it?
To those of you who are saying erectile dysfunction is a medical problem, WTH?! A man will not die if he does not get a boner, for crying out loud!

I can’t think of the logic behind that one. Although birth control is dangerous, so I’d never condone its use.

one applies the fixing a physical deficiency, the other applies to enabling a promiscuous lifestyle.

Um, can you show me where it is that they pay for this? The government? Which one, Federal? State?
I’d like to see some sources, please.

If they invent it, I’ll pay for it.

Thats easy,
Because drugs like Viagra, are perscribed to treat a medical problem.
Birth Control, is not perscribed to treat a medical problem.
They do not pay for birth control for males either.
Your trying to compare a medical issue, to a social issue.

Because the American government is run by men.
‘Nuff said.
